Beale family Christmas
Sat 28 Nov – Sun 3 Jan 11am-3pm
Stroll into the house past the lit fireplace in the hall before entering each room dressed for a different decade in which the family celebrated Christmas at Standen. Whilst upstairs, pop into the Christmas craft selling exhibition from artists of the Sussex Guild, open Thursday – Sunday from 3 December until Christmas.
After visiting the main rooms, at weekends why not visit the historic kitchen to see our range volunteers cooking recipes from Mrs Beale’s family recipe book? Children can also enjoy a festive trail with chocolate gold coins as a prize.
After enjoying the festivities in the house, peruse the Arts and Crafts inspired gifts in the shop or spoil yourself with a warming drink and Christmas treat in the Barn Café. Normal admission applies.
