THE OFFICIAL DIRECTORY FOR EAST GRINSTEAD
Whatever you are looking for, East Grinstead probably has it.
As a not for profit organisation we list free of charge all the businesses in the town (any missing will soon be added) to help residents and visitors keep things local.
Built around 1520, this Wealden hall house with its roof of Horsham stone is now owned and managed by the Landmark Trust. From the garden there are beautiful views of the Weirwood reservoir and the Ashdown Forest.
The Landmark Trust is one of Britain’s leading building conservation charities. With the help of our supporters, we rescue historic buildings at risk, giving them a new life and a future. Once restored, Landmarks are let as inspiring places to stay with the income generated supporting their ongoing maintenance to ensure they will never fall into decay again.
Landmarks include follies, castles, towers, banqueting houses, cottages and many other unusual buildings, all of them unique and memorable places to stay.
Sleeps 8, dogs welcome.
